They offer deferred payments until you graduate and the money is sent directly to you.
Since you’re 29, I presume, you have a work and credit history. You most likely won’t need to worry about a co-signor. But if you have had any credit problems a co-signor would be required.
These loans are provided by private lenders, and each has different guidelines. There’s no charge to apply, so you should apply at a couple to get a feel for what is available to you.
The two I recommend trying is Student Loan Advisors at http://www.studentloanadvisors.com/ They are a private company that works as a matching service based upon your
submitted request form.
The other is Chase Bank. They have a dedicated private student loan department. You can reach them through http://www.usadegrees.com/chase/ I’d suggest completing the online form and letting them call you back rather than calling and waiting forever in the queue at the call center. But that’s just me.
