* When writing the name of companies….(Its not only for Moter Ship)
* When saying more than two names…
Kindly define what is the real use of M/s apart from Motor Ship…

I don’t know why people use M/S “when writing the name of companies,”
but M/S can also be an acronym for: “Messieurs (plural of Mister),” which is probably how M/S is used “when saying more than two names,” or addressing more than two men.
