when using microsoft word after i type a sentence and enter for the next line its starts as capitalize it isnt

everytime i use microsoft word to prepare a letter once when I hit enter to start or finish the sentence the first word in the continued sentenc be capitalize even though it isn’t the start of a new sentence what can I do to correct the problem what type of frmat must I use?

The easiest solution is to type Control-Z after it happens, as that will undo the autoformatting for that one specific incident.

You can also turn off autoformatting altogether by going to the File menu, Format, AutoFormat, and uncheck the box that says, “Capitalize first letter of sentences.”

Word assumes that after you hit enter, you are starting a new paragraph. You should continue writing and let Word wrap the line. If you don’t like where the line ends, change the width of the paragraph. (I aplogize if this doesn’t make sense. It’s hard to describe.)

My daughter has told me not to click enter after each sentence. The margin is already set, so go ahead and keep typing and this won’t happen. It will automatically just go to the next line and pickup from there.
