This question is really asking you to sell the qualities and experience you have that directly corresponds to what they are asking for in the position. Saying you are a ‘team player, good communicator, and motivated’ are all good things, but be more specific.

Before the interview, print out the classified ad or description of the position. Then make a list of the classes, jobs, volunteer work, and other experience that matches up with the things they ask for. For instance, if they say “must be able to work with a diverse group of people,” think of what you have done in your life that corresponds to that qualification. Perhaps you studied abroad or did community service with the less fortunate. This shows your broadness of understanding when it comes to different groups of people.

You can organize your thoughts by what they are looking for. “You said you wanted a creative person for this position… and I …” Be specific and unique. Tell them qualities and experiences YOU have that no one else does. You can also use anecdotes, make them laugh. The interviewer or interview panel is/are almost always someone/some people who will be working with you – you want to show them you are a competent worker and a comfortable person to be around.

greater valuable jobs do not even ask questions like this. i’ve got in ordinary terms been asked those styles of questions in retail and for self-owned & operated clerical positions like day care centers, low paying jobs. i’ve got not discovered an answer that works yet because of the fact I fail that query each and every time. they are finding out you, and that they capture me off look after with it each and every of the time. It does not honestly count what you’re saying because of the fact each and every ‘individual’ is diverse in what they like to take heed to so which you by no ability know what answer would be what that distinctive interviewer is attempting to take heed to. it relatively is crap.
