What’s that word called?

What’s that word called when you know the perfect word to describe something but you can’t remember what it is?

For example, I was thinking of what perspicacity meant and I wanted to say it but I forgot the actual word.

In psychology, it’s known as the TOT State for “Tip Of (the) Tongue state”, meaning the word is right there on the tip of your tongue but you can’t quite spit it out. Interestingly (or obviously, depending on your perspective) the words you think of when you’re trying to recall the word you want are phonetically not semantically related to the one you want.

I don’t know what word you are seeking, but I usually say, “It’s right on the tip of my tongue.” If I can’t think of a word. By the way, it happens more the older you get!
