What Kind of Newspaper is the USA today and The NewYork post? What the difference?

Besides the fact that one includes information about the whole united states area and the other mainly focuses on details within New York?

Well you will often hear people talk about newspapers as being better than another, liberal, fair, and so on. You will almost never hear a newspaper being called conservative.

But most newspapers today are tabloids. Newspapers are struggling to maintain circulation. With the actual news that people want to keep up on, like sports scores, weather, election results, big headlines like disasters, being available on the Internet, and right on one’s cell phone, newspapers have turned to sensationalism. Sensationalism sells.

Is it important what O.J. Simpson did or didn’t do? Did he do something to you? No, it’s not. But there’s a war going on, a 9 trillion dollar debt, falling dollar, political corruption, things that actually do effect everyone. You might as well pick up a gossip magazine.

Out of those two papers I prefer USA Today. But for the above reasons I don’t read newspapers very often.

I recommend The Onion.
