Monthsary represents Monthly anniversary. It more like an anniversary , but unlike being celebrated after an year , it is celebrated every month.
So there would be 11 monthsaries for an event, because on the 12 th one it would be an anniversary.
Eg An event occured on 28 Aug , the monthsaries would be on 28 Sep, 28 Oct, 28 Nov, 28 Dec…….28 July

An important day, very much like an anniversary, but it is celebrated in terms of months, as opposed to anniversaries which are celebrated in terms of years. The only difference is that there are only 11 monthsaries for a certain event, the 12th would already be an anniversary.

It’s a derivation of “anniversary” Anniversary = from latin anniversarĭus, it means “something which is repeated every year. So they change the first part (annus-anni = year) for month. It should be “monthversary” Anyway, if you want to use the latin word, it should be mensiversary (mensis = month)
