What is the benefit from silent letters?

Why in English language we have to use silent letters for example psychology word, why we don’t say sychology?

With some words, they weren’t always pronounced the way we do today. In middle English often ALL the letters were pronounced. Gradually, pronunciation may change but the spelling of the word stays the same. With the example you gave, it’s the origin of the word that gave it its spelling and pronunciation.

The silent letters usually reflect the origin of the word – using psychology, it derives from Psyche, who was, in Greek mythology, the spirit of the soul, the spirit and the mind (in other words, things relating to the brain). Psyche was usually depicted either as a butterfly or as wearing butterfly wings, and she was the beloved of Eros.

When the science of psychology, psychiatrics and related fields developed, no one wanted to call it ‘brainiology’ because it dealt with what the brain did, not with the physical brain itself, so they turned to Greek mythology to come up with the word we use today.

That’s not a really good reason why the word isn’t spelled sykologe, but that’s why it happened.
