I wouldn’t say, “I would die for you”. Some guy I wasn’t interested in years ago said that to me and followed it with “I would kill for you”(!), and I thought he was a little desperate and it didn’t make me more interested in him.

Sounds like you need to be doing some listening, not talking. And be prepared for whatever you will hear. You cannot talk someone into loving you. It has to be freely given. Or if you could convince them, they may re-think it later when you are not there and you are back to square one.

Don’t be clingy or demanding of hearing “I love you” all the time. Notice nice things that are being done for you, and say thank you.

Just don’t flog a dead horse. when love is over, it truly is over.

somethings i have said……..”you’ve made a difference in my life” I highly respect you”…..think about what it is you love about this person and go with a statement that supports those qualities.

or

“I yearn for you”

or

“You are my everything”

or even…

“te amo preciosa” (i love you precious)… other languages are always extra sexy
