Well, it’s a traditional Navajo prayer. Some use it as a blessing while others use it for meditation. Other’s use it to remember a person by.
Lyndon B. Johnson used it as a reference in his “Geat Society” speech.
For the author: Beauty represents the goodness in all things. And by remembering that he is surrounded by beauty, he too can be good.
It also reminds the author that the Great Spirit made everything beautiful, and we should act accordingly, because the Great Spirit made us as well.
