if people are at work and they say

“im on house duty” or “im on house call” which 1 is correct? and what does it actually mean?

On house call:

Means that a person isn’t working but is expected to keep a phone nearby and be willing to come into work if needed.

“I’m on call” could also be used.

This often is the case in the Medical Field where work demand fluctuates so quickly in emergency situations.
