what does the term “power play.” mean when your role playing?

i made a rp on gaia and someone akesd me if we could power play. what does the term “power play” mean.im really clueless 😕

“Power play”, I imagine is just another way of describing “power exchange”. This is where one partner takes on a completely dominant role and the other is completely submissive. In order for this to work, there needs to be a lot of trust. When you do get it down right, it can be incredible! Good luck, and ALWAYS have a “safe word” (something that can be said – or a signaled by either partner where play is to stop immediately). I use “time out”.
