Nervosa means nervous, and in these cases, caused by the nervous system, or the old standby, its all in your head.
Anorexia and Bulimia are called nervous disorders, thus the “nervosa” part of the name of the disease.

there are many words accompanying nervosa but no real definition of just the word.
I beleive it may mean disorder. example

Looking in the dictionary, I found Nervosity which means the quality or state of being nervous.
