All honest seekers of the truth can feel the influence of the Holy Ghost, leading them to Jesus Christ and His gospel. However, the fulness of the blessings given through the Holy Ghost are available only to those who receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and remain worthy. After a person is baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, one or more Melchizedek Priesthood holders lay their hands on the person’s head and, in a sacred priesthood ordinance, confirm him or her a member of the Church. As part of this ordinance, called confirmation, the person is given the gift of the Holy Ghost. The gift of the Holy Ghost is different from the influence of the Holy Ghost. Before baptism, a person can feel the influence of the Holy Ghost from time to time and through that influence can receive a testimony of the truth. After receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, a person has the right to the constant companionship of that member of the Godhead if he or she keeps the commandments. There is no “special” means to use the gift, and I’m not sure that I would call the gift psychic. It seldom has anything to do with foretelling the future, though a “feeling” about needing to do certain things are definitely part of it. During a baptism (adult or child), one of the two talks will address the gift of the Holy Ghost. There have been a number of ways it has been expressed in the past and I’m not sure which, if any will be the most meaningful to you, but here’s one analogy that seems to fit. The Holy Ghost is a singular member of the Godhead (comprised of the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost). He has a number of missions and one of them is to testify of the reality of the Savior, Jesus Christ and his mission of salvation to all of us. In one sense, the Holy Ghost is like a star or sun or even radio transmitter. His presence can be felt by many people in many places at the same time. When one receives the gift of the Holy Ghost it can be compared to getting your own personal radio receiver. Two things have to happen to make it work: 1 – it has to be tuned – attuned to the spirit. If you let it drift off course, by the way you lead your life, then you will lose the ability to receive the messages the Holy Ghost has for you. So, you need to do your best to live according to the teachings of God and the Savior. 2 – You can, through indifference, let your spiritual batteries run down. It isn’t a matter of doing the wrong things, which will detune your receiver, but of staying active and doing the things you know you should. It is the principle of giving and receiving more than you give. As you do, your spiritual batteries are stronger and you are more able to receive those messages. When you said, “A sacred and true form of understanding and guidance from a non-mortal source might be another way of saying it,” you really are starting to understand what is going on. Yes, it’s completely sexual. It’s an inference that black men are so accomplished sexually that if a white women sleeps with a black man even once, she will be spoiled off white men forever. It’s an assinine saying.

it has a sexual meaning to it. they say black men have the biggest penis…so, once a woman/man goes with a black man she/he will not go back to what the were with before…like a white or brown skinned man.

This saying has to do with the percieved size of a “black” mans penis, because most “white” men feel inferior to “black” men in that category.

And no it is not most “white” men who are racist but “black” men, who say all whites are racist unless they agree with whatever the blacks say or do.
