I’d have said dusk. Evening is more general, from twilight throught to full night. When evening becomes night is a whole different ball game.
Twilight is neither day nor night – it’s that time of day when the light is fading but it’s still light enough to see. Dusk is when the sun has just about set, but there’s still some natural light around, leading to full night when the sun has set. Hope this helps

I thought that dusk meant the same as twilight.
The scots have a lovely word for this time of day, the gloaming.
Definitely NOT dawn or eclipse, they have nothing to do with evening twilight.
