There’s a summary at wikipedia, but its a better idea to read the book. It’s one of those stories that showcases a tragedy and wrings your heart.

Didn’t you read the book? It’s about a guy and girl who befriend this old guy named Mr. Pignati or The Pigman, who’d kind of strange, but a nice guy. Read the book to find the major events. It’s actually a really good book, and I don’t even like to read all that much.
