example: 4+4=8 and 5+3=8

the answers are the same (8) but you got them two different ways. either way, the answer is the same. that’s what the phrase means.

example: two people start at the front of a building and want to meet in the back. one goes to the left, the other to the right. it made no difference which way they went, it took each the same amount of time to get there.

good luck

I would say it is normally used where one person points out a difference and the other responds that the effect or result is the same.

It’s simple… if someone says same difference… it basically means ‘same thing’.

Things that are different but mostly the same… like Dr. Pepper and Mr. Pibb, or the truth and the reality.

Hope this helped!!!

Either solution works. No matter how many different ways you can solve a problem, the end result will always be the same.

It’s just a quirky way of saying “same thing”.

I usually use it if I make an incorrect statement, someone corrects me, and I want to laugh it off.

that is considered an oxymoron. When two words that don’t seem to go together do.
