Is this correct: ‘The Fight’s just begun’?

I wanted to know if that sentence is ok. ^_^ Thanks.

Yes, it is okay, however, I’d not capitalize “fight”. The word “fight’s” is a contraction of “fight has”, so essentially, your sentence means, “the fight has just begun”.

It’s correct. “The fight’s just begun” has no grammatical errors.

Personally, I think “The battle has just begun” sounds more colorful because of the Bs in “battle” and “begun,” but that’s YOUR decision to make, because you’re the writer. So far, you’re doing fine!

It’s correct, but there should be no capital letter on “fight”. “the fight’s” is a conversational abbreviation for “the fight has…”, in more formal style you’d say “The fight has just begun.”

i don’t think you can abbreviate the word “has” like that…I think it’s grammatically correct to say ‘the fight has just begun” but in everyday speech, that is just fine
