is this a correct sentence??

Ive thought it would be better to say “It’s time to go get your clothes.” instead of “It’s time to get ready for your clothes.” which one is correct? The situation is to buy some clothes.

what if I say “get ready for the clothes”? does it mean buying some clothes? It’s kinda cunfusing.

my next Q is about preposition.

A: why are you here?

1. I’m here for business

2. I’m here on business.

both are right to say? If it does, which one is more natural?

plz answer my questions.

“It’s time to go get your clothes”

the 2nd is different meaning, I’m not sure what you would do to prepare for clothing but in no way does it imply getting dressed or buying clothing.

#2. I’m here on business.

Feels more natural.

I’m from the USA if that biases my answers.

“It’s time to go get your clothes,” is more correct, or “It’s time to go buy your clothes,” is more on the nose. “Get ready for your clothes,” doesn’t sound natural at all, and I really can’t think of a situation where that would be appropriate.

Both “here for business” and “here on business” are acceptable, but “here on business” is a more natural idiom. I hope this helps!

Are you ready to go clothes shopping?

Its time to go get your clothes; are you ready?

I’m here for business and I’m here on business are both fine. And they both sound natural, some peole would say ‘on’ and some would say ‘for’. Neither is more correct than the other

As for the first one, “It’s time to go get your clothes.” is correct. There’s nothing to get ready for. For the second question, both are correct, but “I’m here on business.” is most commonly used.

First Question – Its time to get your clothes looks more logical.

Second Question – Look at the question before you see the answer. Your question is “Why are you here?” Logical answer is “I am here for Business”.

If the same question is like, What are doing here?”. The answer shall sound “I am here on Business”.

The first answer is “reasoning” the presence of one at a location. But the second one addresses the happening.

I feel, The answers shall more situational and question dependant than looking at the logics.

First, I would say “It’s time to go get your clothes.” is the proper sentence for the scenario you gave. The second sentence really makes no sense to me.

Second, I personally would use #2 however, I think #1 is probably the more proper choice.
