I noticed that English say “yeah” at the end of their questions a lot. Does the rest of UK and Australia (co
say that as well or is it just an English thing?

Not here Down Under… it doesn’t make sense! Why would you say ‘yeah’at the end of a sentence.
It could be the same as saying “you know?” or “do you know what I mean?” at the end of a sentence, just to confirm with the other person that they know what you’re going on about???
Do you know what I mean? (damn! I just did it! I guess we do, in one way or another…not all of the time though)

a lot of countries do that, put the same word at the end of their sentence. in Northern Ireland they put aye (which i suppose is the same as it means yes). here (not the UK or australia) some places put like, (you know like) at the end. there’s nothing worse than having a conversation with a person that does that.
