Many people know and love the famous little rodent named Mickey Mouse. We know he has created a legacy throughout the years, but do we know how it began? Some know and some do not. Was it just a funny idea, or something long and thought out? In a journey back in time, it is possible to discover how this cute little cartoon came to be.

Mickey Mouse is an Academy Award-winning comic animal cartoon character who has become an icon for The Walt Disney Company. He was created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks[1] and voiced by Walt Disney. The Walt Disney Company celebrates his birth as November 18, 1928 upon the release of Steamboat Willie.[2] The anthropomorphic mouse has evolved from being simply a character in animated cartoons and comic strips to become one of the most recognizable symbols in the world.
