All of these words are possessive adjectives, of which there are two types in English: attributive (my, our, your, his, her, its, their) and predicative (mine, ours, yours, his, hers, theirs. ‘its’ has no predicative form).

And so we have such uses as “my house”, “our holiday”, “their problem”, etc., and “the house is mine”, “that holiday was ours”, “that problem is theirs”, etc.
