How do you conjugate “fidelity”?

What is the word for one who displays fidelity? I.e., “Her husband never cheated on her, he always remained _________.” Fidelious? Or is it one of those words that doesnt conjugate?

I tried googling “conjugating fidelity” but all i found was a bunch of links about a different kind of conjugation 🙂

The reason fidelity can’t be conjugated is because it’s a noun not a verb. There is no adjective for fidelity. Faithfulness means the same thing and it’s adjective is faithful. The verb ‘to be’ needs to be conjugated:

I am faithful etc

I was faithful you were faithful he/she was faithful we were faithful you were faithful they were faithful

I don’t know that there is an adverb form of the word. You could change the phrase to “…he maintained his fidelity throughout the relationship.”

Faithful.

They are adjectives, not verbs, so you cannot conjugate them.
