mama of 4+extras?

help i need a catchy phrase!!!?

i’m trying to make a poster before our school open house. i’m looking for something to get more people to sign up with our PTO. i’m president & right now the only one working on this. i’ve come up with “Be in the know, help support your PTO” i even cut out a piggy bank & made coins with the things we do for the school on them…my prob is. it keeps hitting me that it sounds like i’m asking for money, but i’m really asking for volunteers. help i only have a few days left & i have a brain block!!! thanks in advance!!!!!

How about a poster with a bus with people in it? The bus has the letters PTO on it. The slogan is YOU MAKE IT GO. Then in smaller letters, write VOLUNTEER FOR THE PTO. Each place a window/person on the bus is visible can be labeled with the things the PTO does for the school.

(1) We need more than a stand-up cheer;

We need you to volunteer.

(2) We have set goals for the PTO to steer,

But we need the energy of each volunteer.

“Care where your kids go?

Sign up for the PTO!”

you could use a road map to nowhere under the first part and a road map leading to parents or diploma under second part.

I love yours…its sounds great and hey, if it looks like your asking for money…money for the PTO never hurt right? At the bottom, put:

Be apart of your childs education, Volunteer!!

the slogans good! but the piggy banks do make it more “moneyish”

in a different font/word art, write “Volunteer!” instead. And try decorating it with school related things (pencils, paper, smiley faces, etc)

good luck!

“It’s uP TO you to support our PTO!”

Wow that’s pretty lame…

I really like your slogan, it doesn’t sound like your asking for money at all. I think you should stick with yours.
