“That will be hers and Nikki’s loss.”

Is this correct grammar?

That will be her and Nikki’s loss.

Take out the “and Nikki’s” and you will see that “hers” is not correct in this sentence because it doesn’t make sense that way.

No, just use “her” instead of “hers.”

That will be her loss, as well as Nikki’s.
