Ethical hackers can be used by anti-virus companies to evaluate the vulnerability of the software or find any trap doors and report them to the company. They usually work for a department in the company know as “Quality Control” in which their skills are used to approve or fail software. The majority of these ethical hackers aren’t actually employed by the company but are hired as independent contractors.
Ethical hackers provide a wonderful service to the world around them by not using the information they find in a malicious way, but instead their findings are used to keep our information and computers safe.
