Does anyone know what the definition of cavafy is, the only thing it says in the dictionary is a reference to people.

Constantinos Cavafy was one of the great poets of the Greek language of the last 100 years (although many Greeks had problems with the content of some of his poems). If one is interested in world literature, he is a major figure. It is his name in the title of the poem you cite. He himself wrote a poem entitled ‘An Old Man’ – ‘after Cavafy’ probably means ‘in the style of Cavafy’
