Ya of course my dear.

All you need to do is to divide your word into syllables

Eg: Beautiful

This word has three syllables in it.

Beau-ti-ful.

A syllable is a set of a vowel/vowels and a consonant/consonants.

You will see very soon that you improve on spelling words.

Bye.

Everyone has different skills. Everyone develops these skills at different rates!

I am studying at university to be a primary school teacher. Unfortunately, reading and writing, while paying particular attention to your spelling, are the main ways you will improve.

Practice is the key. You don’t get better at basketball without playing, and you don’t get better at reading, spelling, and writing without practice either!

Good luck. Do not be upset. To draw on another sporting analogy, Michael Jordan didn’t get upset if he missed 7 shots in a row. He plays on stronger, keeps trying, shoots another 20 and hits 15 of them.

I would agree with the person who suggests to break a word into syllables. I would suggest also to look up a site like wikipedia and do a search for something that interests you and read all about it. Another good idea is to read things and summarise them, using words from the text.

If you are asked a question at school, use some of the words from the question in your answer. This lets you practice and develop vocabulary at the same time.

If you are in school still you could ask your teacher for help. I am 31 and I can’t spell that good. thank GOD my firefox has spell check for this site. because most of the time others would not be able to read my messages. My trouble is big words and words I don’t type/ write out often. You might need to find what you weakness is in spelling and work from there.

You are not alone.’

It is proven that tutors with small group do improve most students results.

I am not good at spelling either. Sometimes I use a dictionary to write the words. Spelling is important but not as much as some people put on it.

Try looking some words up in the dictionary. It take a lot of reading and writing stories, etc. to be a good speller. It just comes with age but you can get better with a little work. If a word doesn’t seem right to you; look it up.

just familiarize the words and you’ll get the secret of spelling.. and read it on your mind so you can spell it.. like the word “believe”, you use letters “i” and “e” respectively because it is pronounced in a hard way.. others are “ee” as in meet, “ea” as in meat, etc.. actually, i don’t care a lot about spellings.. grammar matters a lot than that.. computer knows the spelling, anyway. and when not sure, just go to dictionary.com and look for the right spelling..

Hey, I’m AWESOME in academics (school), but my sports, until very recently, are extremely crappy. I can do a lot more than a few months ago, not that good, though, but only by PRACTICE.

You could buy an electronic dictionary…much more convenient, portable, and easier than a conventional one. While reading, keep the electronic dictionary by you.

FYI, You’re not that bad. You need better punctuation and sentence structure, but other than that you only spelt two words wrong. Young and I’ve.
