Though they are not “articles” (they are used as adjectives, pronouns and adverbs), both CAN be used with singular nouns as well as with plural ones depending on the construction

any

– ARE there ANY donutS left? (plural)

– Any schoolboy knows the alphabet (singular)

some

– Yes, there ARE some donutS left (plural)

– Some man was asking about you. (singular)

Some and any are not articles. Any can be used with singular nouns, but some means more than one, and should not be used with singular nouns.
