Can I say “a critical teacher”? I guess not, but what is the proper adjective?
I know that I could say this teacher is always critical of pupil’s homework, behaviour, or report.
In the case, i want to express that she/he can never be satisfied, can I say ” he is a critical teacher”?
I guess it is not so. Becuase it means the teacher is so important. but…what should say?
a bitter teacher? not good.
please help me with it.
Thanks.

If you are saying she is the best teacher on the staff in that subject, then sure, it is critical that you take his or her course. However if you are trying to say she is always critical then I think you should say she always needs one more answer, one more detail, How about she is very choosy in what she accepts.

Maybe you need a word like “disparaging” or “fault-finding” since it sounds like the teacher’s criticism is always negative.
