How about sky, fly, myth, try, tryst…

(FYI, “Y” is NOT a vowel, it’s a consonant. it is sometimes, as here, used like a vowel, but it is NOT a vowel.)

There are actually many words without true vowels.

In English, any pronounceable syllable requires a vowel. In many words, the letter ‘y’ serves the vowel purpose, which is why we say that the vowels in English are “a, e, i, o, u, and sometimes y”. Thus, no word can be formed without a vowel.

However, if you want to be a stickler and NOT call ‘y’ a vowel, then there are a whole raft of words with no vowels:

cry

shy

myth

glyph

syzygy

The letter Y is often used as a vowel. You can find words without vowels by looking into any dictionary that has Welsh words. There are several languages where the vowel is not used, only implied.
