Barry Hearn is a sports promoter who used to manage many many snooker players. They used to call him Mr 25% because he took a 25% cut of his clients money. Well anyway, he started life as an accountant. When he was young his mum told him to be an accountant because she had never seen a poor accountant :))

All professionals have responsibilities to shoulder so I wouldn’t take the worse case scenarios and let them put you off (although I agree that it’s important to understand the pros and cons of any given profession). You obviously want to do this and just need guidance and reassurance.. so go for it and enjoy 🙂
