With a GED, can I get into college and take an Air Traffic Control class?

Can I take ATC classes with a GED, or not? I’m not too familiar with the requirements of this program. *Simply asking because I know ATC is a federal job, and may require a full high school diploma.

A GED certificate is equivalent to a high school diploma.

The only thing that the Feds would look at is your scores on the GED tests. Of course, if you passed the test, you should be ok.

If I am remembering correctly, ATC courses are offered through colleges and universities. I don’t remember them being offered through Govt programs….but I could be wrong.

Colleges and Universities take GED scores and rank them among the GPA of their freshman applicants for admissions purposes.

If you have a GED, you have a high school diploma. You should be able to take the ATC class unless there is some other requirement you need to meet.
