I am a senior this year

34 ACT, 800 math 740 reading 690 writing

3.78 UW GPA

Have taken 7 AP classes and 3 APs this year

Have done some competitions in science, math, latin but nothing spectacular (no 1st place in state or national), a year of cross country.

150+ hours of volunteering

Is it a reach for me to apply to vanderbilt???

I’d still apply. Yes, your ECs don’t sound too spectacular, but you’ve got pretty good numbers and you have some ECs. Worth a shot at applying. I wouldn’t feel confident about getting in, but I wouldn’t feel like you don’t have much of a chance either.
