Why is it so hard to find other single teachers?
I am a teacher in my mid 20’s. However in the Education field it seems, as the schools i have taught at, visited or seen, are either towards the end of their careers, or married with children. Does anyone know of a site that is made for single teachers? It is hard to find women that understand the demands of the job, the stressess of kids lives in your hands, and the daily schedule that comes with the job. If you aren’t a teacher you wouldn’t understand, as i would not understand your job. Any thoughts? anyone share this experiance or am I totllay off here?

No, but I am a single mom. But chatting or looking on their chatboards at teachers.net is nice.

there are a lot of people who understand – do you think all of those married teachers are married to other teachers?? no majority of them are married outside the field
