Don’t talk about killing yourself. Maybe medicine isn’t for you. Med students have to be really great students, and, just judging from your writing skills, perhaps it’s simply above your abilities. There’s nothing wrong with that. If you aren’t cut out to be a doctor but still want to be in the medical field, perhaps you could train to be an EMT or some sort of medical assistant.

Reply to goldie: I don’t think this person is in med school. No way. I think he’s in pre-med. And, sorry, if he’s not good at science, I don’t think medicine is the field for him–unless you want to go to a doctor who finished in the bottom of his class. Sorry, I DO judge people by their writing skills. I am perfectly capable of telling the difference between abbreviations and someone who is lacks basic skills.

Why push this person to do something that he’s not suited for? He’s talking about suicide. I have complete sympathy, but he needs to take a look at what he’s doing and perhaps make some changes.

if u study hard , u should get a good score but i have seen some people put 10 hrs like u do in one course but still end up failing the class. I think the reason is when you dont understand the concept and doesnt matter how much u study, u not not gonna be able to answer anything in the exam. Study hard and understanding the concept will make ur get good score. I used to be like you , when i took pre-calculus, i found that class so hard because i wasnt getting the concept. I always asked teacher even though if my question was stupid. At that time, i wouldnt imaging my self taking 6 to 7 calculus class which i’m right now. I have taken almost 7 calculus classes after pre-calculus. Why? because after all kinds of experions in study , i came to realize that understanding concept is a key.

here are some tips

Concetrate in the class

if u dont understand something, ask teacher

Do ur home work

never copy home work from anyone

First try by ur self and if u still dont get it then ask ur classmate or teacher

if u follow that u should be fine

Best of luck !!

I’m sorry you have to go through this. i have been there. I remember studying so hard for my gsce Iwas very sure of myself and knew I was going t omake a c at the worst.

To my dismay, I got an Fin Chemistry and and E in Physics.

I was so devastated imagine going to the score board with your friends cuz u no u r gonna do well and they all know your index number and some people who were not eve ncommitted to learning did better than you.

I can only encourage you cuz thats what helped me i resat those papers.

Ilater got to learn that some lecturers look out for certain methods or facts anf you may have overlooked them or used a different means.

Just study the mode or way a particular lecturer answers his questions and try to do so next time.

I really sympathize with you.

It’s not about the facts you know, but how u answer the question to the teachers satisfaction.

Keep us updated ok.

Reply to Bookish answer: You can’t judge someone’s writing skills by what you read on forums or posts such as this. This is the internet, and just like text messaging, people would like to use abbreviated forms of words or sentences.

If he wanted to be an EMT he wouldnt have gone all the way to 3rd year to find that out.
