Whats the difference between a Undergraduate, graduate, and post graduate?

People are saying 4 year of your college but in the university it says that it is a 2 year course to do a subject so what are they talking about 4 year course?

Also what subjects do you need to do to get into something like a Undergraduate, graduate, and post graduate?

Or are these just words to separate people saying this person is GCSE and this person in A Levels.

Please help

I want to become a Pilot what courses should I do in University in the UK?

Thanks

An undergraduate is in a 2 year or 4 year college or university program. He or she has not yet graduated.

A graduate has graduated (earned a degree) from one of these types of college or university programs.

A post graduate has already earned one graduate degree and is going on in school for an advanced degree, for example a masters degree, a law degree, or a Ph.D (doctorate).

I’m not that familiar with the course work needed to become a pilot. You might visit with a military recruitment office or a local airport. I suspect basic courses on navigation, astronomy and mathematics would be helpful.

I’m glad to hear you want to be a pilot. If you haven’t already, make contact with the RAF. They’ll have exactly the advice you need about fulfilling your ambition, including which university courses to take, and how to get some avionics experience in the mean time.

Regarding your first question, an under-graduate is someone who has not yet achieved the level of graduate. In the UK, you become a graduate the moment you finish (i.e. graduate from) a normal university degree course. An undergraduate is usually someone who is currently studying their first degree, and has not yet graduated. A post-graduate (post meaning ‘after’) is someone who is doing, or has done, further study after graduating. For instance, a teacher in the UK usually does a post-graduate certificate in education, which they can only do if they pass their degree. They become post-graduate students when they start the course, and can call themselves post-graduates from then on.

There are specialist courses for those interested in avionics (flying). As I said, go and see your RAF careers advisor, or even just go to their website. www.rafcareers.com

Hope this helps.

How old are you? An Undergrad is a student working towards a Bacholrs degree a Grad is student who ahs completed a BS or BA degree and is know working on Master’s degree. Post Grad is a person who has a Master’s and is working toward’s their Doctorite. Does that makes sense? A BS, BA is worth more than an Associate degree(2Years) if you know you don’t like school it’s not for you..If you are studying towards a area you really like then you may be able to do a 4 year study..Keep in mind that you can attend during the summer and get through quicker. T o find out more about becoming a Pilot, type it in the Googlr search bar and go from there. Good Luck..

an undergraduate is someone taking an undergraduate degree, also called bachelor degrees. all college freshmen start this way.

a graduate is someone who has completed his bachelor degree. to get to this level, all you have to do is to graduate from your undergraduate degree.

a postgraduate is a person who is taking additional studies (called masterals or doctorates) after he has already finished an undergraduate degree. postgraduate studies are typically more expensive than undergraduate.

an undergraduate is someone working on their bachelors Degree, a Graduate is someone working on their Masters or PHD, and a post graduate has already completed those.
