What the hell?
What would you do?

Is the biochemistry class a required class that you need to have taken and passed prior to being accepted into the progam or is it a prerequiste course needed after acceptance? If it’s only a prerequisite course you could take biochemistry once you’ve been accepted into the medical school.
I would not waste my time or money trying to take an online course. Although there are online courses that do include a lab (you have to purchase a kit) the quality of these courses isn’t comparable to an actual class/lab course. Then there is the issue of it being acceptable to an admission committee. Unlikely, in my opinion.
This raises the question of whether you live in one of the four states that does not have a state university medical school. I suspect that you do, as it is unusual for a state university system to fail its students in this manner. This poses a problem for you. In order for you to attend a medical school you would have to go to another state, which means paying nonresident tuitions–which can be astronomical. You might consider doing this–moving to another state and drop out of school for at least a year. All states will deny you residency status if you attend any form of education within the state while you are completing the time requirement for residency.
