What should I do to relieve my stress?
I have a organic chemistry test in 5 days. I have stuided well but dont feel like ill do good because they are couple things I dont understand. I asked people to help me with it tomorrow and emailed professors about office hours yet this panic of not being assisted is getting on my nerves to the point where it took me 1 hour – 1 hour and a half hour to fall asleep the last two days just thinking about the test.

Hopefully this will work for you – A meditation technique I have used and loved.
Get in your bed and be still – make sure you are comfortable.
Tense your toes for 10 seconds release .
Tense your feet for 10 seconds release..
Keep doing that with each small muscle and large muscle group. For example..each finger, then each hand, then arm. etc…

Relax…..find a quiet place, like a park, and just sit for 15 minutes. Close your eyes and just tune in to the nature sounds around you. The wind, birds, any background noise there might be. Focus on your breathing. Don’t worry about how you may look, the idea is to let go of everything for 15 minutes and relax. Stay postive, you’ll do fine on your test!

Get out of you room – go have a coffee with friends, or go bowling, maybe get out and just hang out around the city.
