At this point, you don’t have to worry about a SAT II subject test unless your college wants you to take one. If that is the case, the subject tests will be determined by the specific school (sometimes they may require a biology major to take a biology test and a chemistry test. I have also seen schools require all students to take an English test and one foreign language test). Some schools may not require a test, but taking the tests could help you get credit or placement into specific courses.
The admission officers at the schools you are interested in will be able to tell you exactly what tests you need and when you need to take them. Don’t hesitate to call them – their job is help and they are usually pretty excited to do so.

You really don;t have to take the SAT 2s. However, most schools such as the UC system and other prestigous ones requires them.

None are. Take AP or IB bio, chem, physics. If your school doesn’t have those, see if your college even requires SAT IIs.
