An associate degree is a general degree of courses! It usually takes two years ! An associate degree in nursing is the same, only it has more nursing subjects in it, because it is the first two years of a bachelors in nursing(Registered Nurses) which takes four years altogether!
A vocational nursing program is for the Licensed Vocational Nurse career, and it usually takes about a year for it, but it only has mostly nursing classes in it!
