Most MBA certifications are only 18 semester credits. With this, they concentrate mostly on the area of your field (like finance: you will take all finance/accounting related courses)

You typical MBA is going to run 36-48 semester hours. With this, you are going to take both the “hard core” course-work (finance, accounting, statistics), and the “soft core” courses (communication, marketing, management). With the MBA, you are taking a more blended curriculum.

I think it depends on your field, but I think the MBA is a more credible degree. (Now my graduate certificate is from an “ivy” school, but still, I believe that my MBA pulls more weight!)

NIBM is an online MBA provider and it provides classes in online mode. You may consider NIBM if you are interested in online MBA. National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) has earned both IAO and AACBE accreditation and hence it is very reputed.
