College placement tests are tests to see where your skills are for college work. Usually these are just english and math tests. Each college devises their own tests according to their classes.

The SAT is a test given to potential college students while they are still in high school to see where they stand academically against all other college bound students who take the test. While it is also mostly english and math based, it is a standardized test that all interested juniors and seniors take all over the country.

It depends upon what you are really asking. Most colleges have you take placement tests to see what specific level your math and English skills are at. That way you don’t take calculus if you can’t count past 10 and you’re not placed into a remedial math class if you can do calculus.

The SATs are tests used to determine your eligibility into college. So high (or low) SAT scores in math for example do not place you into a specific math level, ie, a 550 in the Math section of the SATs won’t place you into Calculus, but if you’ve had Calculus in high school you’ll generally do better on the math portion of the SATs.

The AP Chemistry test has so plenty greater problematic assessment questions, including a miles better extensive degree of talents of concepts required. in spite of the fact that, each exams do require adaquate prep time to excell in.
