Like if the world as we know it were to fall apart, so that money and status and degrees and diplomas and such are no longer worth anything, what is the best universal skill you could have?

People skills…plain and simple. All the world’s leaders, good or evil, had the charisma and people skills to move a nation. 15 years in the military and I’d have to say that I’ve seen the educated, worldly and most sophisticated of leaders come and go. The ones that truly made a difference where those that were empathetic and could relate to another person far beyond what they could ever teach you at a university. These are the skills that motivate and allow people to follow and be led.
