All social work schools are for adults. It would be very rare for someone under the age of 18 to be admitted to a school of social work. As for the best school of social work, there is a US NEWS ranking and there are ranking from a few other areas. But in truth depending on what you are looking for these rankings don’t mean much. What is most important is going to an accredited school of social work by CSWE. You will find that 1/4 to 1/3 of all students in a social work program are over 40. As for accelerated programs ONLY those students with a BSW in social work are eligible for an Advanced Standing program. Most MSW programs are 60 units taken over two academic years. It may be possible in some schools to speed this up a bit by taking course in the summer between terms, but probably only by a semester. DA
