What is college like?
Favorite Answer
Social atm- There are so many events the first week of college and so many clubs and groups you can join, lots and lots of people to meet.
Education- can be stressful, you need to not let other things interfere with you studies.
Professors, I thought they were going to be mean or strict but almost all I had are cool, knowledgeable, very smart, and some can be intimidating. etc
Sororities- i don’t know much about it,
Clubs- there are lots of clubs. they are fun. you get to meet new people, cool people.
College life is fun, you just need to take care of yourself, you come first. don’t let anything get in the way. you know lots of people (teachers, parents) have been telling you this, and probably still are, and they are all right. one thing can leads to another, and you will forget you are in college, but you need to understand that everything you do determines how it all will end up.
to me i got to a jr. college and it pretty cool to me its more freedom then in highschool i can tell ya that. but i would say that its cool bacisly the same as high school but more freedoms and more spare time if you know how to pick your classes for schoo. l right . why not just go to one for like a vist
i know sometimes they let hightschool kids do like a tour of the daily life of colleges ect just look around in your area
hope this helps
The key, the real key, is choice. The big deal at college is that you have choices you never had before. Want to cut class? Fine, no one will notice or say anything. Want to sleep late, want to whatever, the opportunity is there. There are good and bad students, good and bad profs, good and bad books . . . and you get to choose who to hang out with, what to eat, when to study, . . .
