The match is the same. The pay is not.

If you take the engineering route (although you didn’t specify what type of engineering you were interested in… there are lots: civil, electronics, computer, industrial, chemical… the posibilities are endless) you’ll most probably work in a big tech company. You’ll be working in labs or in front of computers or on the field and most of the time, the atmosphere is casual.

Anyway, you’re decision should be based on where you think you’ll be happy. Are you the type who thrives in a formal corporate environment (go finance)? Or do you like to work in a more laid-back albeit equally challenging workplace (go engineering)? Are you result oriented (finance) or process oriented (engineering)? Pick the one that suits you and you’ll go far.

Fianace is more of a desk job but if you want a business degree you are better off getting an accounting degree (more jobs, better pay, more respected).
