You could also major in biology.

In all actuality, however, you could really major in anything you wanted. Many medical schools nowadays are accepting more and more students with non-traditional majors. They are interested in having a more well-rounded student body so they are looking more at students who aren’t the typical pre-med or biology major. If you don’t major in biology or go pre-med, you’ll still need all those pre-req classes such as human anatomy and physiology and organic chemistry. You’ll need excellent MCAT scores and great letters of recommendation from some of your professors.

In HS, you should take as many math and science classes as possible. Take AP classes if you can . To get into medical school, you should go to as good a college as you can get into.

Oh.. wait. There are MILLIONS of OB/GYN doctors out there! Wow! Does this mean that there are people at medical school who are ready, willing and able to help you choose the appropriate classes when the time comes? Wow.. What will they think of next?
