What do you think of my college and future plans?

I am a junior in high school and I currently have and am hoping to maintain a 4.0 GPA. After high school I am planning on going to the University of Michigan (maybe not for undergrad) and studying orthodontics as my major and business as my minor. Hopefully after college i will open my own practice and be a successful orthodontist. How does this plan sound? Any suggestion? Any surprises i should look out for? Etc?

It sounds like a good plan. Just don’t get stuck thinking you have to follow it completely. Maybe you’ll find you prefer something in a different direction while taking college courses. That’s okay too. I started out with a biology major and a math minor and now I’m a math major and biology minor. I’m just fine-tuned what I wanted. Some people switch things completely. If you end up feeling stuck then that’s probably a bad thing. Just don’t feel like “these are my plans and I can’t stray from them at all”

Having a plan is a good start. Follow through and adapt as needed. A business minor will help you understand the complexities of running a successful business.

i’m in community college suited now and in straight forward terms have 5 extra training to bypass (after next semester) till i’m getting my associate’s, then I plan on moving and double majoring in journalism and pictures. Combining my 2 passions. My time table for this semester, which will fortunately be over next thursday, is worldwide Civ, Printmaking, layout, and paintings historic previous. My time table for next semester is Intro to computers, American Literature, Anthropology, Mass Communications, digital pictures, and pass fulfillment. you’re gonna love worldwide civ. I took the two a million and a couple of, a million is magnificent, I have been given to jot down a rfile on gladiator combating, yet 2 is confusing because of the fact all human beings has a similar call (Louis, Elizabeth, etc.). I recommend taking some paintings training for electives if your college gives you them. they’re fairly exciting and especially basic, in spite of in case you suck at paintings. actual basic A’s.
