What do I do — acting major or…?

I wanna be and actress. So badddd, but I know its not a stable career. The main thing I need is experience, and thats why my initial plan is to go to school for four years and get my bachelors in that feild (acting) . Although i did make a promise to myself if by the time in 30 and I havent made it yet, ill go back to school and do something else (philosophy). Should I instead of doing my undergrad with acting, just do philosophy, or would the experience in acting at a university help me way more and be more benneficial to me.???

I dont want to go to school for acting and that not help me at all then look back on myself when I was 30 and regret not doing philosophy then. Help?

You may want to consider doing a double-major so that you can do acting and if that doesn’t work out you could fall back on your philosophy degree and then you wouldn’t have to go back to school. 🙂

You could do philosophy as a major and acting as a minor.

It would be wise however to do whatever you’re passionate about.

But, the negative thing is that you might spend your time hating what you’re doing.

It’s all up to you– you yourself has to make the decision.

Do philosophy and when you are done with that focus in acting.

I think its best for you.
